Parking was conveniently located across the street and was only $5 bucks. Breakfast, I ordered pancakes was the best I ever had (but wished they had turkey bacon or sausage, however they did have roast turkey as an option). This hotel by far exceeded every expectation on the service front. When I called down for extra washcloths it was there within minutes. Room service also amazed me when I ordered breakfast it was at my door within ten minutes. The service continued to amaze me throughout my stay from housekeeping who was so amazing, responsive and punctual with her service. ![]() I tested it out the next morning to request toothpaste, sent a text at 7:57 AM and someone was knocking at my door by 8:04 AM with the requested items. Upon check-in I received a text from the service team welcoming me and letting me know I can communicate with them via this text forum. The room was very modern and clean with hardwood floors and was definitely impressive. This didn’t bother me in fact I enjoyed the opportunity to get in a few extra steps throughout my stay. The design/layout is a bit different which included the bathroom and mirrors on the first floor and the bedroom on the 2nd which meant you needed to climb several steps to get to the bathroom or look in mirror. I stayed in the Bi-Level Suite it was very spacious and comfortable. She assisted with getting me a nice room which suited my need and preferences, she was super sweet. I proceeded into the hotel and the front desk personnel was so pleasant and welcoming. I pulled up at Hotel Indigo (a relatively new property) and was immediately greeted by a parking attendant with a smile. A nice mediocre place to stay for a quick night stay over, but I wouldn't want to spend more than one day there.Īs you read my review keep in mind I am very picky/selective and have stayed in some of the best hotels. ![]() The worst part was the fact that there were numerous flys trying to enjoy our food as well. I had to send it back, and it came back worse then before. Worst Long Island I've ever had, and I've had hundreds. The food was okay, but the portions were too large. Our waiter was nice, but it took an exceptional long time to be weighted on. Water also leaked badly under the door onto the floor next to the toilet. It was removable, but very difficult to manage, due to it's extreme size and bulk. The shower was very outdated with this huge shower head that weighed a couple pounds and had to be forcefully pushed and pulled to fit your height. They had a square box in the corner to hang your clothes, which also held a small refrigerator that didn't stay cool, let alone cold. ![]() Then try to maneuver access three lanes of busy traffic full of rude inconsiderate people to go around the block to park in the garage. You have to squeeze your car in to drop off. There is a parking garage across the busy street which costs $5.00 a day. ![]() It is extremely difficult to park there, and could even be dangerous during busy times. There is only luggage drop off/pick up parking for about three vehicles in front of the hotel. ![]()
